Casey Anthony's attorney David Schrader is left holding the bag after her other attorneys withdraw, and Schrader did not know about the conflict and the withdrawals until Nov 26th, and did not know who was preparing the ANSWER which was due on Nov 26th. Schrader files a Motion for Extension of Time to file an ANSWER to the Judge's DENIED Motion to Dismiss Zenaida's Complaint which was ordered on Nov 5th. Schrader wants ten more days, until Dec 6th to file the ANSWER.

Casey Anthony is seeking additional counsel.

By Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel 4:41 p.m. EDT, April 3, 2013 Two people suing Casey Anthony for defamation filed court paperwork this week, in the latest developments of an ongoing asset-fight in her recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Former meter reader Roy Kronk, the man who discovered the remains of Anthony's daughter Caylee in late 2008, asked a U.S. bankruptcy judge this week to permit him to question Anthony about her finances. Kronk's new filing says "it appears that there may be misstatements on [Anthony's] schedules regarding her income, living expenses, and assets." The motion is the second to seek a deposition-like interrogation of Anthony: A similar request was filed by an attorney for Zenaida Gonzalez, the woman suing because Anthony claimed a similarly named nanny had kidnapped Caylee before the girl was found dead. Hearing held in Casey Anthony bankruptcy case TAMPA -- A hearing was held in Tampa Tuesday in Casey Anthony’s bankruptcy case. Attorney's for Anthony and Roy Kronk were at the hearing at the federal court house in Tampa. The hearing was a short one with a new hearing date set for both cases involving Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk. A bankruptcy judge recently decided Casey won't have to pay most of her debts, except for taxes and debts related to student loans or criminal fines. That includes debt from pending proceedings like the defamation suits brought by Gonzalez and Kronk. They want damages for things Anthony said during the murder trial of her daughter Caylee. Anthony was acquitted of murder in her daughter's death back in 2011.
