Judge rejects request for new Ferguson grand jury
Posted 7:07 am, January 21, 2015, by Associated Press

ST. LOUIS (AP) – A St. Louis County judge has rejected a request by the NAACP’s Legal Defense and Educational Fund to convene a new grand jury to consider charges against the Ferguson police officer who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown.

The civil rights group says a court administrator responded on behalf of St. Louis County Circuit Judge Maura McShane, whom it had asked in a Jan. 5 letter to also appoint a special prosecutor to oversee the case.

The group had cited concerns about the decision by Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch to allow a witness to provide false testimony, as well as erroneous legal instructions to grand jurors.

The grand jury declined to indict former Ferguson officer Darren Wilson.

Justice Department Said to Be Ready to Clear Officer in Ferguson Shooting of Civil Rights Charges
By MATT APUZZO and MICHAEL S. SCHMIDTJAN. 21, 2015

WASHINGTON — The Justice Department is taking the final steps toward closing the politically charged investigation into the shooting death of an unarmed black teenager in Ferguson, Mo., and clearing the white police officer involved of civil rights charges.

Federal prosecutors have begun work on a legal memo recommending no civil rights charges against the officer, Darren Wilson, law enforcement officials said.

That would close the case in the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. An investigation by the F.B.I., which is complete, found no evidence to support the charges against the officer, the officials said.

A broader civil rights investigation into allegations of discriminatory traffic stops and excessive force by the Ferguson Police Department remains open, however. That investigation could lead to significant changes at the department, which is overwhelmingly white despite serving a city that is mostly black.

In a bid to identify more than 180 looters, police today released surveillance video from inside a Ferguson, Missouri market that was ransacked following the November 24 announcement that a grand jury had declined to vote indictments in the Michael Brown case.

As seen below, the 5:16 clip captures a tidal wave of looters flooding into the Dellwood Market, which had also been robbed in the days after Brown was shot to death by a Ferguson cop last August.

After failing to breach the market’s front door, the initial influx of looters broke through a boarded-up window. Many of the thieves--some of whom escaped with potato chips--are seen wearing hoodies, masks, and hats in an apparent attempt to cloak their identities.

Hi Boystonstu.
Thanks for the link.
The more publicity the videos get the more chance of identifying, though of course the "Snitches get stitches" is a limiting factor.
Seems witness only ever see white "crime"

St. Louis officers fatally shoot armed passenger in stolen car

ST. LOUIS • A 19-year-old passenger in a stolen car was fatally shot when he got out holding a gun and confronted two officers late Wednesday, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson said.

Dotson said the red Chevrolet Monte Carlo the man was in had been reported stolen last month in south St. Louis. It was spotted about 9:45 p.m. by officers on a special patrol near Marcus and Cottage avenues in the Kingsway East neighborhood.

The car was being followed by officers when it hit a retaining wall near an alley. When two officers approached the car, Dotson said, the passenger got out holding a gun that had an extended magazine that could hold as many as 30 rounds.

The officers told the man to drop the gun, Dotson said. When he didn’t, the officers opened fire, the chief said.

The man was wounded and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Dotson said the driver of the car, also 19, cooperated with the officers and was taken into custody.

Too bad the Mayor of Ferguson, Governor of Missouri, Missouri AG, US AG, and the POTUS lacked the political will to tell the people the truth back in August instead of letting this go for months and allowing Ferguson to burn. You can't tell me they were all so stupid they didn't know this was a justified shooting of a criminal back then.

IMO, Federal civil rights violation investigation against Darren Wilson was really about getting a toe-hold in to investigate the entire police department.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government ... en-wilson/

REPORT: DOJ WON'T PURSUE FEDERAL CHARGES FOR FERGUSON'S DARREN WILSON

The Department of Justice will recommend that Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson not be charged with any federal civil rights violation in the shooting of black teenager Michael Brown.

The New York Times reports the DOJ is in the process of drafting the recommendation after an FBI investigation “found no evidence to support civil rights charges against the officer.” However, the Times notes that Attorney General Eric Holder has not made a final decision yet. Holder is expected to reach a decision before he leaves office in the next month or two.

A St. Louis County Prosecutor announced in November that there would be no state charges brought against Wilson. That decision and the actions of prosecutor Robert McCulloch were heavily criticized, especially by the left.

Federal charges in the case were always considered unlikely, as the bar for proving a civil rights violation is relatively high. Prosecutors would need to prove not only that Officer Wilson was in error when he fired his gun but that he knew he was wrong when he did so.

The shooting of Michael Brown and the death of Eric Garner in New York were the impetus for a national protest movement known as Black Lives Matter. The movement, which seeks some reforms to police procedures, has held marches in cities across the country. It has also been involved in more confrontational tactics, such as die-ins, vandalism, and even shutting down highways.

The DOJ is still reviewing the behavior of the Ferguson police department as a whole. That investigation, launched in September, will determine whether a pattern of civil rights violations exists.

The scheming and political manoeuvring is obvious in this case and many others.
(And we thought GZ was bad)

Driven in part by the professional BGI..... Sharpton, Jackson etc
Driven by the schemers for $ ... Crump and other shysters
Used by prog liberal types to advance a political philosophy.

They have long raised expectations of entitlement and Nanny-State benefits. They now think Appeasement of mob demands will calm things down, but the opposite is always true of appeasement.. it's like a drug the addicts want more and more.

Then you have the Streamers "Citizen Journalists"... more accurately described as Naive activist kids with phones. A side effect of the "Occupy Movement". Not good at their "job" with shaky camera work and lack of understanding about where to point a camera (not down at ppl's feet or at ppl's backs). Not even a "work ethic" to turn up at important events always. Streaming has become a scheme in itself. A donations scam. The personal issues of streamers a topic of online discussion. The streamers are FAR from any consideration as unbiased reporters. They join in the plotting and self edit what they stream in an attempt to avoid showing bad behavior by Mob, and to exaggerate anything cops do. their commentary mis represents the very scenes they are showing and includes all the Myths and untruths that for the basis of Group-think already. They reinforce the daft notions and play to potential financial donors.

Good result for DW at least. But the Mob in Ferguson never were about DW and MB.. any excuse and many excuses will for ever be their cause. Clearly the more general "Occupy" movement has taken over the hapless Ferguson mob anyway. Marxist, anarchists, progressives hell bent on fomenting "The Revolution" :roll

Then there is Blossom Masri. Just a nasty ignorant, disobedient kinda petty criminal, who hates cops and authority in general. He latched on to the Ferguson "uprising". He imagines a world where he can get away with giving the finger to cops and authority. He has also "discovered" his roots and latched onto Hamas propaganda as an adopted issue. He is just an ignorant moron. All talk and no trousers. "Cries like a little bitch" when cops arrest him. Thankfully he is headed for prison sooner or later and I am sure he will "Cry like a little bitch" there too.

Michael Brown's family considers suing Darren Wilson in absence of charges
Nicky Woolf, The Guardian
23 Jan 2015 at 10:05 ET

The family of Michael Brown is considering a civil suit against the police officer who shot him in the wake of news that a Department of Justice investigation is preparing to recommend no civil rights charges be brought against the officer.

Anthony Gray, an attorney representing the Brown family, confirmed that the family is considering a civil suit against Darren Wilson, the police officer whose fatal shooting of Brown in Ferguson, Missouri , led to protests last year.

"That is an option that is available," Gray said. "They have not made a decision to move forward at this point, [but] that is an option that is always on the table."

Officials are said to have told the New York Times and CNN that after federal investigators interviewed more than 200 people, analysed cellphone audio and video evidence and examined Wilson’s clothing and gun, the department would publish a memo stating that no action should be taken against him.

The Great Car Lie.
Thursday, January 22, 2015

Here is a story about a bunch of protesters that seem to be trying to stir up trouble in the hopes of adding new fire to this illegal protest. Please keep in mind that this post is not complete and we are still actively looking into this issue. Any help you can provide is appreciated.

Here is the story as we are aware of it at this time.

It was reported that shots were fired at a car in Ferguson. It was reported that many shots were fired, with some people claiming up to 20 rounds were fired. Yet, oddly enough only one bullet was found. We will talk about that bullet soon.
