BACKSTORY– October 2014 – “Mom said 18-year-old baby Vonderrit was eating a sandwich and contemplating which college classes would be better – considering his recently edited white paper on Gravitational Inconsistencies as applied to Quantum theory.

A local politician, Senator Nasheed, said the police walked up to Vonderrit while he was kneeling down in prayer and shot him in the back of the head.

There appears to be a disconnect in here somewhere; somewhere between a skewed version of reality, and what actually took place“.

Last night, they held a vigil for Vonderrit Myers down in Shaw. Yes how many showed up? A handful, including Deray. Hilarious! Guess when they don't get paid, it's not a big deal about his killing. In-ster-ning, as my son used to say. Gave me a good laugh! Deray is not such a hot shot here anymore. Hope they run his ass out of town, or dot his eyes, anything to send him packin'!

Protesters arrested at home of St. Louis prosecutor

ST. LOUIS • Seven protesters were taken into police custody Tuesday night as they staged a demonstration outside the home of Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce.

The chanting protesters gathered at the home in the Holly Hills neighborhood shortly after 9 p.m.

Most of the arrests were for disturbing the peace and resisting arrest. Some were arrested for trespassing. One person was arrested for assault.

They were opposing the decision by Joyce’s office not to bring charges against a St. Louis police officer who fatally shot VonDerrit Myers Jr., 18, on Oct. 8.

Joyce announced the decision not to pursue the charges on Monday.

About 40 protesters joined the demonstration. Some were hit with pepper spray by officers who ordered them off the home’s lawn. They screamed, “Wake up, Jennifer!” and “No justice, no sleep!” Police had no advance notice of the protest.

A few police officers arrived initially, and a couple dozen more officers arrived as the protesters chanted. Police told protesters to get out of the street and to be quiet. At one point, an officer drew a gun on a protester who was on the lawn.

Police Chief Sam Dotson said at the scene that one of the protesters wiped pepper spray on him and that assault charges will be pursued against that person.

In reference to the arrest story above, I'm trying to find out who wiped the pepper spray on Chief Dodson.

Arrested: Keith Rose, TDubbO, TefPoe, Marcellus, Biko, Elizabeth Vega, Ebony, Tara
and possibly King D Seals, but I haven't been able to verify it.

WTF is Mike Brown?

I read an article a month or so ago about a reporter going to visit MB's grave-site. The cemetery where he is buried has maps printed up because the grave is difficult to find and, I am guessing, there are many people who ask where it is. The reporter verified that there was not a headstone at the grave.

Seems like SOMEONE would care enough to see about getting a decent grave marker. Guess not.

He was born on this date. He would have turned 19.
