We've been keeping up with these two; slightly lacking intelligence.
The way they got caught is foolish and thank goodness they did. :)

Brain a bit fuddled right now ....Rather than try and detail the corruption she has visited upon Welleston and the STL area I'll just assure you that Janet Dixon is worth Googling in her own right beyond being the womb that spawned Terrence Dixon aka Low-key.

someone please tell me how she was caught with a defaced firearm and got out of jail in time to cast her vote. Is it not illegal? This is the most recent statue I could find, is there a newer version?

Missouri Revised Statutes:
Chapter 571
Weapons Offenses

571.045 Section 571.050.1
571.060
August 28, 2014

Possession of defaced firearm, penalty.

2. Possession of a defaced firearm is a class B misdemeanor.

Ferguson protesters disagree over who should receive donations
By Stephen Deere

Early last month, a group of Ferguson protesters learned that two long-standing social justice organizations – Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment and the Organization for Black Struggle – had thousands of dollars in a joint account.

The money, raised through private donations, was supposed to aid protesters by paying for food, travel, gas, meeting spaces and other expenses.

While some of the money appears to have been used for those purposes, about $50,000 was still unspent.

What happened to the money exposed a rift between the numerous protester groups that sprang up after Michael Brown’s Aug. 9 death and veteran activists with long-established organizations. It also became fodder for conservative bloggers who claimed that the unrest that began in Ferguson and has since spread across the nation was fueled mostly by outside money and interests.

“Ferguson Rent-A-Mobs Exposed” read a headline on frontpagemag.com, an online conservative political magazine on May 19.

But Tony Rice, a Ferguson resident and leader of Ground Level Support, a group that helps organize protests and is leading the effort to recall Ferguson Mayor James Knowles, said that characterization was unfounded.

I do believe the community supports the Ferguson PD but also think their hands are still tied. The protests are dying out, two recent events with no shows. I think this Q & A with the Chief is interesting.

Ferguson Police Department from interim chief's point of view

LA Times
By Molly Hennessy-Fiske | June 7, 2015, 5:00AM PDT

Alan "Al" Eickhoff, interim police chief in Ferguson, Mo., took over the embattled department in March after former Chief Tom Jackson resigned amid investigations into how police handled the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Eickhoff, 59, had joined the department as assistant chief five days before Brown's shooting Aug. 9 by Officer Darren Wilson. Previously, he spent four years with the nearby Creve Coeur Police Department and 32 years with the St. Louis County Police Department.

[...]
Of the department's 47 officers, four are African American, one is Latino, one Asian and three women. Do you plan to hire more minorities?

We are looking to sponsor one or two people in the police academy. We have nine contestants and seven are African American. We are looking to hire more minorities. But one thing I'm adamant about is that they meet certain standards and pass certain tests, background checks.

They sign a contract where they will stay for three years, they get paid while they attend the academy and come work for us. It's a big commitment. If I hire a graduate from the July class… it will probably be February before I can get him in a patrol car.

A Tale of Two Cities – Both Baltimore and Saint Louis on Track For 30-Year Record High Homicides…
Posted on June 7, 2015 by sundance

If Black Lives really Matter, one would think the protesting crowd is doing it wrong. Does anyone think there might be a connection between Baltimore and Saint Louis…. Hmm

Saint Louis – If the current homicide rate continues, St. Louis will have most homicides in 30 years. Since January, there have been 70 homicides in the St. Louis area. If the trend continues, there will be a total of 168 homicides by December, the most since 1985.
