Despite Threats – QuikTrip Has No Plans To Rebuild in #Ferguson

On August 10, 2014, the Ferguson, Missouri, the local QuikTrip was looted and torched during riots over the shooting death of 18 year-old Michael Brown.



The QuikTrip was completely destroyed during the Ferguson riots.

Ferguson protesters later warned local business owners to rebuild:
“Or it’s gonna be hell to pay”

Despite the threats QuikTrip has no plans of rebuilding in Ferguson.

On August 19, 2014, the gas was removed from the tanks at the Ferguson QuikTrip.
This was another sign that the QuikTrip in Ferguson will not rebuild.

UPDATE: A QuikTrip official told TGP the company has no plans on rebuilding in Ferguson and that the looted store was barely breaking even.

Understanding The Origin Of The Mike Brown Narrative

When we first began digging in to the Mike Brown story something odd was immediately identifiable. The individual witness statements, when compared over time, were case studies in the evolution of self-contradiction.

But why ?

It’s generally a true statement that eye witnesses testimonials can often be unreliable, but the statements of the people hitting the New York media circuit were beyond unreliable – they were contradicting themselves within hours.

A little research into the shooting aftermath and things begin to fall into place.



The primary witnesses used to create what we’ll call the media narrative were and are: Dorian Johnson, Piaget Crenshaw, and Tiffany Mitchell.

A few days later Michael Brady surfaced, but Brady didn’t follow the same script – and we’ve discovered why.

To understand the origin of the “Hand’s Up” tale it helps to have a firm understanding of where each of the players are AT THE MOMENT the shooting took place.

Initially we thought the item identified at the base of the drivers door was brass shell casings as a consequence of Officer Darren Wilson discharging his firearm while under assault by Mike Brown.



We were wrong.

HatTip to Treeper LTC8K6 – According to his own statements and media testimony, accomplice Dorian Johnson said he was not involved in the physical confrontation at the SUV of officer Darren Wilson.

Additionally, in his various statements, witness Michael Brady had placed Dorian at the passenger side of the SUV approximately 5 feet from the front bumper. But Brady readily admits he did not see the origination of the struggle, only the part where it got really loud, captured his attention, and he peered through his apartment window to witness Mike Brown punching Officer Darren Wilson through his SUV window.

Dorian Johnson admitted to hiding behind a car as Officer Darren Wilson engaged with Big Mike Brown. Obviously, at this point we know Dorian has told numerous lies throughout the initial phase of his discussions with the media.

NEW: Thanks to everyone’s help we have now been able to identify additional physical evidence on the scene which again supports the “Black Canseco” outline: ‘Mike Brown doubled back to confront Officer Darren Wilson’.

That evidence is the existence of an 8th cone identifying a large item located East of Mike Brown’s body. That item is about 8 feet East of Big Mike’s body (it could be packs of the cigars or something similar in size). This supports the stop, turn, and begin approaching Wilson who was West of Brown during the pursuit. The evidence map is updated.

1. Car most likely a little closer to DW's SUV (near Hydrant)

2. 8th cone identifying a large item located about 8 feet East of Big Mike’s body (it could be packs of the cigarsor something similar in size) Seems to be a small towel that was used to partially cover body.

Discussion about evidence cone 8(thought to be cigarillos pkt) to the East of MB body.

It was not there in very early videos. By time I spotted the discussion the "mystery" was solved.. it seems to be a folded up towel that was placed over body, then removed and replaced with a larger cover.
