New Zealand eye under-strength Australia http://www.espncricinfo.com/new-zealand ... 80000.html Vice-captain David Warner, being rested and an ankle injury suffered by captain Steven Smith rules him out of all 3 games. So.. it's a bit of an Aussie B team.. I hope they beat NZ anyway.. they need momentum head to a tour to INDIA Aussie Captain will be Matthew Wade Wade will be the third wicketkeeper to captain Australia in ODIs; Adam Gilchrist led the team in 17 matches and Ian Healy stood in as captain eight times |

Now Wade is sidelined and Finch is captain? ![]() Talk about "evening the playing field." This should be interesting. Hope NZ bowls first. Nope, Australia won the toss and is fielding. ![]() |

Game over After "Aust B" were down 6 wickets and less than 100 runs 6/67 (18.2 ov).. they should have had no show, but.... WOW what an exciting finish... as it turned out Aust DESERVED TO WIN. They only needed 7 runs off 19 balls Centurian Marcus Stoinis Not out on 146 NZ 286/9 (50.0 ov) Australia 280 (47.0 ov) NZ win by 6 runs NZ lead 3-game series 1 - 0 |
