Wow. :D

VOGES IN A HURRY

100
Balls taken by Voges to make his century - the fastest in Hobart.
The previous quickest in Tests at this venue was by Gilchrist who took 110 balls v Pak in 1999.

Interesting to compare and contrast this game with the game in NZ... played at about same time.. 2 hours ahead

Australia are getting on with things as NZ are, but unlike the NZ game.. Australia could bat on all day today (and beyond). I do hope the Aussies have one eye on TIME!!! It is fine to score 500 - 600 runs and so for all intents and purposes bat the opposition out of the game... BUT.. as always to WIN a test match you need to bowl the opposition out.. TWICE and you have to organisze your own innings (or 2) to allow TIME to do that. Weather was reported to likely cause some loss of playing time.. today or over next 4 days.. so... Australia need to get on with things.. possibly DECLARE early? As with NZ game.. 400+ is ENOUGH runs for anybody as 1st innings score. :)

Day 3 start of play in less than an hour.....

WI have fought back and gained some respectability on the scorecard. Darren Bravo has led the charge with a good effort, he will come out on 94. But WI still have a lot of work to do, they still trail by 376.
