2015 Cricket World Cup The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup will be the 11th ICC Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand from 14 February to 29 March 2015. 49 matches will be played in 14 venues with Australia staging 26 games at grounds in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney while New Zealand hosts 23 games in Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton, Napier, Nelson and Wellington.[1] The final match of the tournament will take place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The allocation to quarter finals is based on Top Pool A plays Bottom Pool B etc Knock out stage Flow Chart

India and Pakistan as Countries are close to being "at war" with border disputes/the ongoing dispute over Kashmir. Acts of terrorism from time to time. Not surprising they are regarded as Rivals on the cricket field too, but the political situation means that they rarely play against each other... except at World Cups. The record shows India has won 5 - 0 on WC clashes with Pakistan. Pakistan are determined to break this "Duck". The rare clash today will attract the huge audience for cricket in India (and Pakistan) with expected TV audience of 1.2 BILLION viewers. It is also a sell-out at the Ground in Adelaide. I left the SA V Zim game to watch India V Pakistan. SA were making hard work of batting and looked like they would struggle to make 250. But final score is 339. I must have missed some big hitting, high score overs? I see over 48: (30 runs) Miller: 6 4 4 6 4 6 Other overs with double figure scores.. a lot down to Miller DA Miller 138 (not out) (off 92 balls - Strike rate 150%) Duminy also JP Duminy 115 (not out) (off 100 balls - SR 115%) I just heard 111 scored off last 6 overs.. that explains it  Zimbabwe all out 277 (48.2 overs) (5.73 runs per over) South Africa Win |
