My early impression is that this is a 300+ wicket.

NZ NEED to be batting at about 100% scoring 6 an over.... before too much time passes.

Rigor Richardson is talking crap as usual...
He got tangled up in a description and jokingly quipped that English was his second language.....

Simon Doull had a GREAT comeback..

"Is Gibberish your first?"

:lol

Martin Guptil hits a century on a 4.Image (should be white ball)

MJ Guptill 102 (107b 9x4 3x6) [37/ov New Zealand 198/2]

"10th ODI 100 for Guptill. Astle (16) and Taylor (15) are the other Kiwis to 10+ ODI 100s. "

Innings break

NZ end with 294 runs...

New Zealand 294/5 (50 ov)

Target for SL is 295

NZ batsmen did ok ish but IMO they are short of runs needed.

SL could well reach the target :)

Comparison how the innings is going ..

End of over 20 (4 runs) Sri Lanka 71/3

End of over 20 (6 runs) New Zealand 101/1

-----------------
Will you do the math at 25/ov, Rumpole? Where you triple and figure it all out :)

107/3 (25.0 ov) 188 runs needed to win.

At the end of 35/ov NZ had 180.

SL is keeping up.

We are down to considering runs required and balls left to be bowled.

122 runs off 84 balls required

SL really need some BIG overs.. like 20 runs or so :)

Thx. :)

I'd like to see a quick wicket or two so we can see Chameera at bat.

Yeah..

My prediction....

Chameera hits a six off the very last ball.....to win the game take his total to 15*

Isn't it odd, I would love to see him do well in that exact scenario?

But in this case, his out is welcomed. This is too close for me to want to see SL win.

Bash and crash cricket I am not very familiar with... but I expect an international side to score say 10/over? as a par sore.

So a score of 200 after 20 overs

Individual SR's 150%+ up to 200%

RR of 10+

Of course NZ could do a LOT better than par.. and make close to 250 - 300 :cool

Not sure NZ "get" this T20 stuff :doh

I have seen bits of it payed by club teams and retired player professional type leagues.. and it is supposed to be BASH (and crash).

Guptill made a good start... but the bash is somewhat lacking since as far as I can see.

I still think 200 is a par score.. NZ wont make that.
